THE LIFESTYLE CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

Over the past few months Covid-19 completely changed our lives. While the environment began to heal,  people were caged indoors. A society were  people love social interaction was forbidden from it. Coronavirus  has changed how we work,  learn and interact with each other. It has triggered a wave of Mental Health issues that resulted from Covid-19 the habits Covid19 has given us will last long.

People have started taking personal hygiene more seriously. An increased intake of fruits, herbal tonics,  vitamins,  consumption of multivitamins to increase immunity among the people and drop down in an healthy snacking were observed.  Everyone has switched from American to Indian culture, remember the time when we used to join our hands saying NAMASTE to all. That time is back again to trend. The ritual of washing hands, sanitizing things before use, that started as a compulsion has now become a habit.

From chilling out with friends and families at cafes and restaurants,  we now meet them through video calls. Wearing a mask is mandatory on stepping out,  earlier we would associate masks with doctors but now they are new normal. The pandemic has triggered a wave of mental health issues, whether its  managing addiction , depression, social isolation,or just the general stress that resulted from Covid-19. We all are feeling it.

Online education for instance got a major boost. Students all over the world are attending classes virtually. For most of the people it has been work from home and looks like the same is going to continue for some time, and there is certainely been added stress for families who had to deal with remote learning situations for school aged children. Coronavirus has not only changed the ways of life but also brought a major change in the mindset of the people. Family took a front seat and people understood how family is more important than anything else. Many people are losing their lives, their families are suffering. In almost every house there are death news, we don't know who is going to die next.

Covid-19 has led the world to its knees, right from minor hygiene changes to major economic changes. It  has proved that everything around us is so temporary that it's your own house and family that keeps you safe. For some it may turn out to be a disaster that is destroying everything, but for some it is an opportunity to work on their skills, spend time with family and realize that 'Health is Wealth'.
