DISADVANTAGES OF PLASTIC UTENSILS:

It is estimated that India discards about 120 billion pieces of disposable plastic utensils every year. A research had  found that  chemical components can leach into food.We can often see plastic plates, spoons and cups near our garden, parks or buildings,  whenever there is a celebration or a party, people throw them here and there. There are a lot of plastic disposable tableware, they can not be destroyed, after recovery, the earth caused great environmental damage, whereas edible cutlery if thrown can be eaten by street dogs or insects.
There are many guidelines for food safety in our country but barely any norms for the production of utensils used for consuming food.
